Resources During November 2025 SNAP Pause

As the federal government shutdown continues, millions of Arizonans who rely on SNAP will face delays or interruptions in benefits starting Nov 1st. The Arizona Food Bank Network (AzFBN) is working closely with food banks statewide to monitor developments and share timely updates.

Community members can find help through Get Food – Arizona Food Bank Network or by calling our hotline at 602-528-3434, available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. 211 is also available for food referrals Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–7 p.m. For ongoing updates and new resources, visit azfoodbanks.org.

The Double Up Food Bucks program is funded for a SNAP Support Voucher program during this time, beginning November 1 at participating markets. Participants can receive up to $30 per day in SNAP-eligible food vouchers and $10 per day in fruit and vegetable vouchers (limit $40 per EBT card per day). Find participating sites through the map.
SNAP customers can also receive free delivery and waived service fees on orders from select SNAP enabled stores through DoorDash, valid November 1–30 with promo code SNAPDD. Pantries interested in offering free deliveries through Project DASH can email projectdash@doordash.com for details.
If your area is seeing increased need, please coordinate with your local food bank if you have a partner contact, or let me know and we can work together with the food banks. Many federal and nonprofit resources are designed for larger urban areas, and local food banks remain a strong partner for responding to rural Arizona's needs.
