The UA Campus Pantry is a 503(c)3 nonprofit started in 2012 to address the presence of food insecurity on the University of Arizona campus. The UA Campus Pantry is committed to helping students, faculty, and staff (anyone with a CatCard) who are in need of food assistance due to financial and other situational reasons. The mission of UA Campus Pantry is to alleviate hunger in the UA Wildcat community by providing food assistance to those in need.
The UA Campus Pantry serves anyone with a CatCard. This includes student, faculty, and staff at the University of Arizona.

The UA Campus Pantry has an internship program which allows students to get involved with the UA Campus Pantry, learn how small nonprofits operate, and receive school credit. Please contact uofacampuspantry@gmail.com if you are interested in our internship opportunities or have any further questions.
You can get involved with the UA Campus Pantry in a few different ways. The UA Campus Pantry is completely supplied with food through donations from UA clubs, UA organizations, as well as community organizations. This requires food drives and donations from students and/or community members. If you would like to conduct a food drive, please refer to our Drive page.
The UA Campus Pantry accepts individual donations as well. Please refer to our Donation page on the different way to donate!
You can also volunteer at UA Campus Pantry distributions. This will involve various activities depending on what is needed at the time. Please refer to our Volunteer page for more details on how you or your organization can get involved with distributions and other operations and activities.

All you need to use the Campus Pantry is your CatCard. The UA Campus Pantry asks no further questions or takes record of personal information. The UA Campus Pantry is committed to maintaining your privacy. Please contact uofacampuspantry@gmail.com if you have any concerns.

To protect the privacy of our users, we ask for you to not film or record in our space during distribution. If you wish to take photos or record the space, please contact us to set up a time do so.
Campus Pantry Directions
The Campus Pantry is located on level 1 of the Student Union Memorial Center in the Sonora Room which is located across from the Esports Arena. The Pantry is accessible by the elevator on level 2 of the Student Union Memorial Center. This elevator is located on the east side of the Union across from the African American Museum of Southern Arizona. Below are images describing the above locations.

Distribution Questions
Non-Perishables:
- Grains: Pasta, rice, lentil, oats, cereal
- Canned items: soups, vegetables, fruit, beans, tuna
- Baking items: cake mix, muffin mix, cornbread mix
- Snacks: granola bars, chips, oatmeal packets
- Spices
- Peanut butter and jelly
Perishables:
- Produce: white onions, bananas, apples, oranges, peppers, potatoes, lemons, limes
- Dairy items: milk, yogurt, cheese sticks, margarine
- Eggs
- Lunch meat
- Bread and tortillas
- Frozen meats and vegetables
If you do not have your CatCard, we will ask to see a physical photo ID and your UAccess page that shows your ID number upon entering.
If you need a new CatCard, please visit the CatCard office. More information about the CatCard office, such as location and hours, can be found on their website. The cost of a new CatCard will get charged to your Bursar.
Users can only use the given amount of points on that given day. Points do not rollover to other days.
Users can only use the amount of points given to them upon visit. Users can not use points from other days in the week.
Users can not use points from Campus Closet. Campus Closet and Campus Pantry points are not interchangeable.
The Campus Pantry has a rack containing gluten-free items for those with gluten sensitivities.
The Campus Pantry also offers non-dairy milk, such as soy milk and almond milk.
Users are not allowed to use a CatCard that is not theres. Using another person's CatCard violates the Terms and Conditions of Use as listed on the CatCard website.
Of course! You are more than welcome to bring a friend or family member with you. You will only be given one shopping basket. Your guest will not be able to take any items for themselves.
The Campus Pantry does not provide bags for users. We ask for users to bring their own reusable bags to distribution.
Yes, visiting Campus Pantry North or utilizing Pantry Pick-Up counts as one of your two weekly visits to the Campus Pantry.
Logistical Questions
During the academic year, the Campus Pantry sees roughly 2,200 visits per week.
The Campus Pantry serves over 5,100 unique people per year.
The food from the Campus Pantry is mainly in-kind and monetary donations. Using donated funds, we purchase weekly orders for non-perishables from local grocery stores and perishable items from the Student Union Warehouse.
We also receive in-kind donations from the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, Shamrock Foods, Swire Coca-Cola, CALES greenhouses, the Rooftop Greenhouse, and various drives.
The Campus Pantry receives funding from several sources including:

- Student Services Fee
- Campus Sustainability Fund
- Individual donations
- Grants
